Lightweight Heavy Duty Rear subframe replacement beam axle for Classic Mini

So if your looking at this beam axle, you already know you need coilovers and a new rear exhaust mount. But theres afew things not mentioned here. The brace type bar which sits under the radius arm and links across side to side, means you have to cut the knuckle off the underside of your radius arm. So its not a direct swap, once you cut the knuckle cup off, there's no going back to a standard frame/suspension without changing the radius arms. Theres no centre exhaust mount holes or anywhere to mount it, which would require some modification or some thinking to get around it. The brace bar part also sits lower than the handbrake cable guides, which means your exhaust needs to sit lower than usual, so not ideal. If you bought this frame with lowered shocks to run low, your going to have to modify the brace bar or the exhaust. Overall its OK, not sure how long it will last in time. The 4 studs holding the inner radius arm bracket look like they would snap as soon as they got rusty.
